For our latest shoot, stylist Cattis Aronsson selects, styles and wears her MH 925 favourites. We talk about dressing by instinct, her suspicion of anything too flattering, and why a small detail can change everything.
How did you find your way into styling?
Almost by accident, although looking back, probably not. I've always been interested in how people construct themselves visually - what they reveal, what they conceal, and how a single detail can change the entire reading of a person. Styling became a way of working with that language.

Is there a piece of clothing or jewelry you keep coming back to — and do you know why?
I'm probably more impulsive than loyal when it comes to clothes. I dress according to mood and like to mix things freely - different textures, layers, pieces that clash a little. But if there is one constant in my wardrobe, it's the blazer. And with jewelry, it's brooches - I could wear one every day. I love how such a small detail can completely shift the mood of what you're wearing. Perhaps it's that element of surprise I keep coming back to.

How much of how you dress is instinct, and how much is deliberate?
Instinct first, editing afterwards. I rarely have an idea of a "look". I put things together intuitively and then remove whatever feels too resolved. I like when something is slightly off - that's often where it becomes interesting.
Is there something you'd never wear — and do you know why?
Anything that makes me feel too "dressed". I'm uncomfortable when clothes arrive before the person does. I need some friction, or something undone, otherwise I stop feeling like myself. I'm suspicious of anything too flattering. There has to be something else going on.

What's your earliest memory of jewelry?
My grandmother appears very early in my memories of both jewelry and clothes. She has always been a style icon to me - elegant, but with something unexpected. I could open her wardrobe and find a pair of leather trousers. That stayed with me. She taught me, without ever saying it, that style has very little to do with age or with what you're supposed to wear. It's about personality - and the freedom to make something your own.
What's your favorite piece from MH 925?
It changes from day to day - and very much with my mood. I find it almost impossible to choose just one. They all have their own character and charm, and I think that's what I love about them. The piece I'm drawn to today might be completely different tomorrow.
